Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Asia’s richest person, tied the knot with Radhika Merchant on July 12 in Mumbai. The “Shubh Vivah” Ceremony, held at the Jio World Centre, was preceded by a series of extravagant pre-wedding functions spanning over a year.
According to several sources, including the Economic Times, the wedding cost the Ambanis a staggering Rs 5,000 crore. This sum includes the expenses for the three-day pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, Gujarat, as well as the celebrations aboard a cruise in France in June.
