Sylvester Stallone scores big profit from luxury watch sale

While the price was astonishing for most, exceeding their expectations, it felt like some lofty predictions.

Back in 2021, when Sylvester Stallone brought the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime 6300, he got it for $2.5 million.

This means Stallone made a hefty profit of $2.9 million from selling the watch — certainly a smart investment.

If you ask what makes this watch so special, know that according to Patek Philippe’s official website, it took around 100,000 hours to craft it.

Sylvester Stallone loves luxury — some time ago, he sold his luxurious mansion to Adele for a whopping $58 million.

Buying the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime 6300 was not easy

But grabbing this iconic masterpiece was not easy for him.

Stallone revealed in an interview before the auction how he had to write letters and appeal to the Patek board to buy the watch.

Surely, the watch is not made for the ordinary.

“The one thing that is pervasive throughout all these watches, is that they attract me emotionally. It’s not about keeping time, it’s about keeping in step with where you are in life,” Stallone said in the interview.

This shows how passionate he is about collecting luxury timepieces.

The Grandmaster Chime 6300 couldn’t just be sold randomly; it needed proper papers and documentation.

Stallone kept it in its original packaging, which adds to its special value.

After all, the luxury watch will be as special for the new owner as it was for Sylvester Stallone when he first bought it.

And now, the new owner will cherish it for many years just like him.
