The best luxury watches for subtle sparkle – The Times

I’m not a full-pavé watch kinda girl — not only because the budget won’t allow it but also because I’m just not drawn to a timepiece that’s totally covered in gemstones, even though I’m fine with the same idea for a bracelet. Which got me thinking, would I wear a watch with diamonds on the bezel? (That’s the ring of metal that encircles the dial.) Again, probably not. But diamonds on the dial? Instead of numbers? Yes please!

Anything set behind glass (or sapphire crystal in this case) will shimmer more subtly and the diamonds on the dial of a watch are limited to 12, or in some cases even fewer. Mix with a sporty case shape and metal bracelet and it’s the perfect balance
